History

Robert Peides chose to settle in Quebec with his family in the 60s.
Fine connoisseur of Burgundy wines, he quickly became a pioneer in the development of the great wines of the appellation.

Passionate ambassador, he begins by introducing in exclusivity on the Quebec market the wines of his friend the Marquis Roger de Jouennes d’Herville and other prestigious winemakers such as Charles Noellat, Georges Roumier and Comte Georges de Vogüé.
One of his first customers was Champlain Charest, whose reputation is well established today. He initiated him with conviction to the virtues of Burgundy wines and helped him to start his now famous cellar.

Today the agency that still bears his name, continue the work undertaken, providing a diversified offer of wines, mainly from France and Spain. Robert Peides agency perpetuates the values ​​defended by its founder who select products ensuring a very high quality / price ratio while respecting the terroir and the varietal character, and devote a real commitment to responsible agriculture.
