ORIGINS OF DON PANCHO
Francisco Jose Fernandez Perez “Don Pancho” was born in Cuba over 76 years ago. For many years he was the head of research and development for major Cuban brands, and his contribution to the rum industry has been fundamental. Named Best Master Blender of the World, he is one of the most famous and respected Maestro Ronero in the industry.
After fifty years of making rums for his clients, he felt the call of his origins, of his Cuban traditions, and from his distillery in Las Cabras de Pese, he imagined and developed his true and unique line of rums: Don Pancho Origenes.
The Don Pancho de Origenes 8 year is reminiscent of the rums he drank in his younger years.
With perfect aromatic notes of oak vanilla, caramel and maple sugar. A buttery caramel sensation with harmonious flavors of wood-aged rum and a complex oily finish of macadamia and pepper.
The 8 Year Rum is aged in ex-American oak bourbon barrels (from Kentucky).
