METHOD
Monterrey is a magical city in the northeast of Mexico where mountains dominate. This is where PIXAN is blended and aged in small facilities not far away from the city. Pixan (pishán) is a word of Mayan origin that means “Spirit that gives life”. Pixan is a craft rum which is aged in oak barrels and then blended to make a unique combination of flavors. It is hand crafted in small batches of 300 liters with sugar cane from San Luis Potosi. Pixan as the only high-quality craft rum in Mexico will make you experience a little of the Mexican culture. TASTING
A deep and dark mahogany color.
Rich aroma of classic pot-stilled rum, full-bodied and complex, with notes of ripe pineapples, caramelized bananas and freshly-squeezed cane.
Once on the palate, the rum’s aromatic complexity continues to unfold, with a cachaça-like character reminiscent of the rums of yesteryear.
